I believe the following letter is self explanatory. The church in Nairobi has started to work towards building an orphanage. Most of these orphans are from parents dying of Aids. I had asked brother Jonas about the ages and needs of the chidren they have adopted. His letter follows.
If anyone feels a call to help them we will see that 100% of any money or items supplied goes to them. We do not ask for money and there is NEVER a charge for ANY service we provide.

Hi my brother Charlie,
The Ages of the children is from 5 years to 12 years. They are costing us Ksh. 2000 = $ 29, each per month. This is meant for food and all other requirements, eg Medication although Medication may sometimes go up.
The children are ten in number, the greatest need of them is Education, Medication shelter and clothing.
Penciels, rulers, books, and pens are needed so much for their education. Used clothes can be of great help to them to put on.
We pay the house rent where they sleep and get their education for Ksh 1600, =$23. It took me, my wife and other believers a great faith and heart to accept this call God lead me to serve these little hopeless children.
I have not yet got enough matresses, blackets and covering sheets for them, I'm still believing in God for these needs to be met by faith.
I have a future plan for these children, to buy a land and build for them a house, have a tailoring course to teach some sewing, others mechanics and others, other different kinds of experience for their life, so that when they come out of the orphanage project they can live well in life. Pray that God will help many to adopt this vision and became a blessing to many.
