The Church In Nairobi, Kenya

I was contacted in November of 2004 by Bro Jonas and became involved with the church in January 2005
The church moved to Current Location in May 2005

This building is rented.



The first Seminar was held here starting the day we moved in and went for 22 straight days.

Over the next 6 months the church continued to grow ,and improvements were made to the bldg.
The second seminar was Held November/December 2005.

Over the following year the church continued to grow and the bldg was enlarged and the roof was raised making more room inside and making it cooler.
Benches were added and a new roof was installed, making it dry inside. We no longer had to move around when it rained to keep our bibles dry.



The third seminar was held here November 28-December 3,2006

In September 2006 a second church was planted upcounty in Nbau, Kenya (about 4 hrs east)with elders that were raised up in the Nairobi church.

The following picture is the new church bldg in Nbau.
This Land and Building is owned by the church.

As you can see the building is full and there are people outside also. And this church was planted in late September 2006. Only 2 months ago.
We plan to train elders (at least 2 to start) for each new church and will plant at least 2 new churches in different parts of Kenya each year. We will purchase the land and build the building and it will be owned by the local church. That way the people will know that the church has come to stay. Many churches open and then close. We are planting permanent churches with qualified elders teaching the truth of scripture.
We will continue training for the ministers by having from 1-3 seminars annually and by visiting each church on a regular basis. We DO NOT exercise authority over them, each church is autonomous and we only supply training and support as needed for them.
