Ex.23:20 Behold I send an angel to keep and Guard you on the way and to BRING you to the place I have prepared

23:21 Give heed to him - listen to and obey his voice - be not rebellious before him
do not provoke him - for
he WILL NOT forgive your rebellion - because My name is in him. (Is.63:10) (name = character-nature)
(rebellion = witchcraft ISam.15:23 ) Rebellion = bitterness
22 But, if you will LISTEN and OBEY his voice and all that I speak - then I will be;
an enemy to your enemies
an adversary to your adversaries (confine-cramp-bind up-distress-afflict)
23 When My angel (presence) goes before you and brings you to --- (your enemies)
and I reject them and blot them out (cut off-destroy-eliminate)
24 You SHALL NOT;
bow down to their gods (reverence)
serve them
follow their example
YOU SHALL;
utterly overthrow them (completely-destroy)
break down their pillars (alters)
destroy their images (gods)
25 You shall serve the Lord your God (only)
If you do He will;
bless your food and water
take all sickness away from your midst (remove it)
26 not allow miscarriage
not allow anyone to be barren
fulfill the number of your days (give you long life)
27 send HIS terrror (fear of Him) ahead of you
send confusion upon all you come to (destroy-break-consume-crush)
make your enemies run from you (in fear of Him)
28 send hornet (killer bees?) before you to drive out enemy
29 I will not drive them all out in one year. (won't give you more than you can handle at a time)
lest the land become desolate (for lack of someone to care for it)
and the wild beasts multiply against you (for lack of someone to contain them)
30 Little by little I will drive them out from before you
until you have increased (matured) enough to take possession of the land (yourself - flesh)
31 I will set your borders from (give you lots of room) for I will deliver the inhabitants into YOUR HAND
and YOU SHALL DRIVE THEM OUT BEFORE YOU (YOU SHALL - not He will)
32 You shall make no covenant with them or their gods.
33 They SHALL NOT DWELL in YOUR LAND (sit on-abide-remain-inhabit-return-tarry)
lest they make you sin against Me
for if you serve their gods it will surely be a snare to you.
