What ever happened to the Brownsville movement

As with all things that are not of God it just disappeared. Of course leaving in its path thousands of hurting confused people.
Why is it that things such as this get such heavy press coverage when they are promoting their unGodly foolishness but no coverage when they collapse?
I am sure that our prayers and those of many other DISCERNING brethren helped in its demise.
WE (ALL Christians) must learn to apply the scriptural mandate to "Test all things to see if they be of God" before accepting them. This is the only way to avoid the hurting, broken lives resulting from that type of foolishness.
I wonder what the Assembly of God has to say of this movement that they so heartily endorsed just a few short years ago?
I will be posting a message on how to "Test ALL things to see if they be of God" soon.
