Latest from the Orphanage in Kenya

We are working on a program to help support the orphans in the Kenyan Orphanage. THERE ARE NOW OVER 100 ORPHANS BEING RAISED BY THE CHURCH THERE.
Times are difficult everywhere and it is becoming more difficult to support these children. The local church is doing it with little outside help. They are able to get some food from a couple different agencies but that is about all.
Remember these are people with little or nothing themselves and yet they are taking these chidren off the streets and away from a sure death (or worse) and feeding, clothing, housing and educating them. Turning them into productive citizens. There are no government programs to care for them so the church is doing their job and taking them and raising them.
We will soon be able to give you a pictuire and name of a child that you may write to if you wish. Visits are also possible.
Our program will not be able to allow you to send support just for that particular child, all monies will go into the general fund for the orphans. Unlike other programs out there, we are not helping children that live at home , WE ARE SUPPLYING A GROUP HOME TO CHILDREN WITH NO HOME AND NO FAMILY.
It curently costs about $35.00 usd a month to support each child.
100% of all donations is sent to and used for the children. Our bank gives us free money transfers ro help see that all money is used for the children.
