PREFACE:
	Midnight Hour= time of God's judgement
	Mal.4:1	IPeter 4:17
	It is the FINAL AND MOST IMPORTANT day of salvation. The ultimate return to God. That day in which there is no more time, there are no more answers, the end of all things is at hand.
	During the time of cultivation, God used man to inflict His plagues
	Ex.8:22	Gave gift of protection to people/land.
	9:4	Gave gift of protection to animals/all possessions.
	9:26	only protected place was Goshen.
	But; Comes the Midnight Hour. God himself ;
	inflicts plagues.	Ex.11:4-5
	provides judgement.	Ex.11:1
	provides protection.	Ex.11:7 12:7, 13
	Remember ALL promises of God are CONDITIONAL.

	Conditions	Ex.12:1-14
	Started with minor to extreme afflictions. Turned around to show who God is and those that are His.

GOSHEN:	Has no known meaning in Hebrew. Was the best - richest land. In Greek may mean Cultivated.
CULTIVATED:	To seek the acquaintance of, or good will of, make friends with, prepared.
	Pharoah was Rameses, son of the sun. So this was a conflict between the son of the sun and the sons of the Son. Warning: Exodus 4:22-23. Israel, My son - My firstborn.
EXODUS
12:2
	1.) New Beginning a. 7th month now becomes 1st month (religious). Separation of church (Israel) month and world (Egypt) months. b. New opportunity - new beginning. c. Opportunity to put God first, leave heathen idols. d. 10th day - day of selection. Perfect lamb (Jesus). Perfect new beginning (perfection of divine order).
12:2-3
	2.) Must Know The Hour a. Be awake (Mt.25:6 watchman). b. It;s the 10th day of the first month, but it's the 10th day of the seventh secular month.
12:3-5
	3.) Make Selection - Follow Orders a. Can;t stand around and wait for God to do it. b. Lamb - could be a goat but lamb is first choice. c. Yearling d. Perfect - no blemish of any kind. (hair laying wrong was considered a blemish). e. Proper size for the number of people - no waste - must figure how much each can eat.
12:6
	4.) Wait for God's Timing a. 14th day - held 4 days (see Jesus waits). One day for ea. generation of bondage. Eve starts 5th. b. Unity - all must kill at the same time, yet each is responsible for his own family. Between 3 & 6pm.
EXODUS
	5.) Public Profession of Faith in God
12:7 12:13		a. Put blood on the door post and lintel for all to see - in house where you are eating. Must release all family members not in your house to the hand of God and their own conscience. Can't do it for them. Don't talk about it -show it.
12:22		b. Obedience -apply with hyssop -specific manner of application. c. Hyssop -symbol of lowliness -humility. Shows our insignificance -inability to save ourselves. Same used for vinegar for Jesus.
12:22		d. Stay in house til morning. Wait, give God time to do His work.
12:42		e. A nite of watching unto the Lord.
	6.) Proper Preparation
12:8-9		a. Roast - Whole - Head, legs, inner parts - all parts. Cook with dry heat, cooks faster. In contrast to the flesh pots (cooked in water) of Egypt. Unity, all at once.
12:46		b. No broken bones - Unity, oneness. c. With Bitter herbs - seasonings/ enhance flavor as bondage enhances value of freedom.
16:3		d. No water - not diluted - not watered down. Fleshpots.
	7.) Eat The Flesh (Mk.14:22, Matt.26:26, Lk.22:19)
12:8		a. Flesh - edible portion which feeds life, soft tissue as distinguished from bones and viscera, to announce, preach, publish the good news. b. Eat only the flesh, only the good edible parts, no raw (heathen practice).
12:46		c. Eat in your home, none carried out. d. With unleavened bread, the new beginning, no leaven (corruption), become a Holy sanctified people, (not because of time) 7 days (time of crossing the Jordan).
12:8		e. This is beginning of new life in Christ. eat it all = lamb = Christ
	8.) Nothing to Remain
12:10		a. Burn left over parts and flesh - total destriction - burn bridges. b. New beginning - start of trusting God each day for daily provision. c. Fresh every day, Relationship.
	9.) Be Prepared to Move (Travel)
12:11		a. Be ready to move at instant of God's command. b. Shoes on - didn't wear shoes inside - but now is time to break tradition. c. Eat in a hurry - as is - all - now. d. With clothes on ready to travel. e. Be ready to hear from God and move out now. Pharoah rose up in the middle of the night.
	10.) Deliverance by Obedience
12:12-13		a. I see blood, I pass over you.

SUMMARY:

We are being cultivated - prepared.
We have a new beginning - start.

BUT: COMES THE MIDNIGHT HOUR:

WE MUST BE AWARE OF THE HOUR.
WE MUST FOLLOW THE PLAN.
WE MUST BE AVAILABLE TO GOD.
WE MUST WAIT FOR GOD'S TIMING. (WORD)
WE MUST BE IN UNITY. (AGREEMENT)
WE MUST LIVE A HOLY LIFE OF OBEDIENCE AND HUMILITY.
WE MUST PREPARE PROPERLY.
WE MUST EAT THE FLESH - ONLY THE EDIBLE PARTS.
WE MUST REMOVE THE LEAVEN.
WE MUST BURN ALL THE LEFTOVERS. (BURN BRIDGES)
WE MUST BE PREPARED AND MOVE WHEN GOD SPEAKS.
WE MUST NOT HESITATE, WE MUST BE DRESSED, READY AND WAITING - GO.
WE MUST NOT LOOK BACK. (LOT'S WIFE)
WE MUST BE IN UNITY AS ONE.

UNITY 3X = TOTAL UNITY EX.13:21 The Lord went with them.
